Dance and Dine with Friends

Footnotes Dance Club was established in 1956, to provide four pleasant dining and social ballroom dancing experiences for member couples each year. We are a fun group of all dancing abilities, with members generally in their 40's and up.

Most club members live in the greater Milwaukee / Southeast Wisconsin area. The usual dance locations are in Wauwatosa, Waukesha, Watertown and Pewaukee.

The Club usually uses live bands - a rarity these days. We try to provide mainly music from the 40's, 50's and 60's eras. Bands have been very flexible in responding to requests for a variety of dances. Popular styles include Foxtrot, various Latin styles, Waltz, Tango and an occasional Polka.

The annual membership fee of $40 per couple is used to provide music and cover miscellaneous expenses of printing and mailing. Each dance is priced to cover cost of dinner and hall, usually $50 or less per couple. Cash bar.

Attire is semi-formal / smart casual.
